macOS installation

If your Mac blocks the installer, open it through Security settings

This is the standard Gatekeeper screen for apps downloaded outside the App Store. You only need to allow the LangCursor installer manually once.

  1. 1 Download the installer

Click Download, open the LangCursor Installer.pkg file, and wait for the macOS warning.

  2. 2 Do not move the file to Trash

If macOS says the file was not opened, click Done instead of Move to Trash.

  3. 3 Allow it in Security settings

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway next to the installer.

  4. 4 Confirm the installer

Click Allow in the system dialog, then click Continue in the installer and follow the normal installation steps.

No more typing in the wrong layout

You are already looking at the cursor, so that is exactly where your keyboard layout should be. Not in the menu bar and not in a separate widget.

There is a mirrored cursor mode for left-handed use

The standard arrow visually leans in a way that feels more natural for the right hand. If you work with the left hand, LangCursor can enable a left-handed cursor mode and mirror the pointer across the vertical axis so direction feels more natural while the language badge stays readable.

3

Uses the system cursor instead of drawing a fake overlay.

4

Full control

Restore the default cursor, enable launch at login, and switch on a mirrored cursor mode for left-handed use whenever you need it.

Fix common Mac keyboard layout and cursor problems

These landing pages match different search intents: EN/RU mistakes, layout visibility, left-handed cursor use, and mirrored pointer behavior.

FAQ

Answers to common questions

Which languages are supported?

Currently supports EN and RU. The cursor shows the active layout as "En" or "Ru".

How does the trial work?

14 days or 500 layout switches. After that, the cursor returns to default and you will see purchase options.

Can I use a left-handed cursor on Mac?

Yes. LangCursor can enable a mirrored cursor for left-handed use: the arrow is reflected across the vertical axis so the direction feels more natural for the left hand, while the language badge remains readable.
