No more typing in the wrong layout
You are already looking at the cursor, so that is exactly where your keyboard layout should be. Not in the menu bar and not in a separate widget.
EN / RU directly on the cursor. No guessing, no mistakes, no checking the menu bar
macOS installation
This is the standard Gatekeeper screen for apps downloaded outside the App Store. You only need to allow the LangCursor installer manually once.
Click Download, open the LangCursor Installer.pkg file, and wait for the macOS warning.
If macOS says the file was not opened, click Done instead of Move to Trash.
Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway next to the installer.
Click Allow in the system dialog, then click Continue in the installer and follow the normal installation steps.

The standard arrow visually leans in a way that feels more natural for the right hand. If you work with the left hand, LangCursor can enable a left-handed cursor mode and mirror the pointer across the vertical axis so direction feels more natural while the language badge stays readable.
How it helps
Your current language stays in your field of attention
Avoid running commands in the wrong layout. See the language before you type, not after the mistake.
Stop checking the menu bar before every password. Just look at the cursor and type.
Avoid writing code in the wrong layout. No more broken class names and operators.
No more "Ghbdtn, rfr ltkf?". Move between tasks without constantly checking your input language.
Cursor styles
A colored badge with a language label
A minimal color indicator without text
A more visible option for maximum clarity
Keeps the default system cursor unchanged
How it works
LangCursor runs as a standard macOS app without opening extra windows.
Automatically updates the cursor when you switch languages.
Uses the system cursor instead of drawing a fake overlay.
Restore the default cursor, enable launch at login, and switch on a mirrored cursor mode for left-handed use whenever you need it.
